Registered participants are invited to prepare a 4-page (6-page for invited speakers) manuscript for the Conference Proceedings. Conference Proceedings will be published as follows:
- in CD format,
that will be given free of charge to all registered participants, at the Conference time.
- in a special volume of the American Institute of Physics (AIP) Conference Series.
The 9th European Conference Proceedings volume will have Volume number in the AIP Conference Proceedings Series, ISSN and ISBN, and will be registered at the Library of Congress. AIP Conference Proceedings volumes are indexed in the major databases to ensure discoverability such as Web of Knowledge (ISI) and Scopus. Full-color graphics may be included. All the registered conference participants will have access to the online version, free of charge, for 1 year.
- Selected papers will be published in a special issue of Journal of Solid State Chemistry (JSSC, impact factor 2009: 2.34). Authors of selected papers will be invited to extend their initial 4-page manuscript into a regular article, consistent with the standards of JSSC. These papers will be subjected to regular blind peer review by the editors of JSSC. There is no page limit for the JSSC papers. Concept papers and reviews are welcome. Please note that acceptance of your JSSC submitted paper is neither implied nor guaranteed. This will depend on the results of the peer review. End of submission of these papers is November 15, 2011.
Kindly note, that no more than
two papers will be accepted per registered participant. We regret, that for participants who may not have fulfilled payment of the Conference registration fees by
Sept. 10, their papers will NOT be included in the printed Book of Abstracts, in the Conference Proceedings CD and, of course, will not be published in the AIP Conference Proceedings Series.
